CDC Guidelines Update for Sunday, Aug. 1

CDC Guidelines Update for Sunday, Aug. 1

Hey Broadway Family and Friends:

On Thursday, July 29th, CDC changed recommendations regarding masks. The delta variant is spreading and Fayette County is now listed among counties as a high risk of transmission. 83% of all new covid-19 cases are by the delta variant. The delta variant is more virulent and more transmissible than the original alpha strain. Due to this change, the Elders have decided to update our mask protocols effective immediately beginning this Sunday, August 1. Everyone who attends Sunday School or Worship Services will be required to wear a mask or face covering while indoors on Broadway's Campus, regardless of vaccination status.

Below is a brief listing of what to expect when you arrive on our campus for services:

1.     Masks will be required for entrance for ALL INDOOR EVENTS & ACTIVITIES to the campus regardless if you have been vaccinated or unvaccinated. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you at the main entrances.
2.  Increased touchless hand sanitization stations will remain available at Entrances, Lobbies, and Restrooms.
4.  Children’s and Student Ministries are OPEN and masks are required for all leaders, volunteers, students and children. We will continue to follow protocols to provide students with their own separate supplies, pens/pencils, crayons, etc.
5. Worship Services and Sunday School Classes will remain at 100% capacity. All entrances and doors will be unlocked by 8:30 a.m. for your convenience.
6. Coffee, Donuts, and Welcome Center areas will remain fully functional. Water fountains will remain CLOSED, but water bottles and water stations are provided throughout the building.
7.  Communion packets will be available for pickup on tables as you enter for Worship.
8.  Offering will be collected online, mail-in gifts, Giving Stations on campus, or envelopes/checks dropped in giving boxes located in each service.
9. We will continue to offer online streaming services for those who wish to stay at home or unable to attend in-person.

Our greatest concern is the safety and protection of those who call Broadway home and our guests while on our campus. We are implementing this protocol so that we can remain open and continue to enjoy the rich fellowship and worship together as a body of believers. Please JOIN US as we continue to LOVE JESUS PASSIONATELY, LOVE EVERYONE UNCONDITIONALLY, and MAKE DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES! We love you Broadway! #staysafe #staystrong
