Serve

"Jesus called out to them, 'Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!'” -Matthew 4:19

As our love for Jesus grows we no longer desire to simply follow behind Him, we soon develop the desire to work along side of our teacher and begin to serve. It is during this stage that we no longer focus on ourselves, but instead, we turn our efforts to experiencing God utilizing us for His purpose. This is truly where a disciple beings to depend on the Holy Spirit which in turn allows the equipping of new skills that will allow us to reproduce in others.
